FONTAIN is an artisanal house of handmade leatherworking  by François.H.

François H. was born in 1990 in Fontainebleau. As a child, his gaze is drawn, almost magnetically, to these silhouettes carrying handbags.

In 2011, after his training with the Compagnons du Devoir, he learned leatherwork at Berluti as a shoemaker. He won the prize for 2nd best apprentice of France in 2013.

A few years later, he settled down in the warm and captivating atmosphere of Casablanca. It was in the heart of the white city, inspired by Art Deco architecture, that he decided to give substance to his universe by launching his leather goods brand, FONTAIN.

FONTAIN draws its inspiration from the Mid Century and Art Deco architectural movement.

At FONTAIN, material is queen. It is worked with attention, and intention.

Each piece is unique, and produced to order by François.H in his Parisian workshop.

The skins are responsibly sourced. Most come from dormant stocks of luxury houses or French tanneries.
