Art Deco Wrought Iron Illuminated Pedestal Table Paul Kiss
Exceptional large illuminated pedestal table in hammered wrought iron decorated with stylised foliage.
Octagonal base with double steps in “Sea Green” marble.
The body is tulip-shaped with eight scrolls on which rests a circular slab of green-tinted Saint Gobain glass, frosted on the inside (thickness 2.5 cm).
Inside, there is a lighting basin in white opaline glass.
Attributed to Paul Kiss (1886 – 1962), an ironworker who exhibited at the major French art shows of the 1920s and 30s.
