On Saturday February 18, 2023 from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m., Galerie OneToutou presents its new solo exhibition by the artist ALLIAS!

“My work is a reflection of my experiences and my view of the world. I translate the richness of our cultures as well as spontaneity and gesture in painting. I take a look at our society and invite the viewer to question themselves about the contemporary world. ”

“ALLIAS is a self-taught artist born in 1989 in Lille. Oscillating between figurative art and abstraction, calligraphy and graffiti, ALLIAS brings out an urban and contemporary style at the crossroads of genres. With his experience of graffiti, he upsets codes and dares to confront styles and artistic currents. Inspired by great painters and sculptors of the last centuries and by Street Art artists of today, it refers to artists like Kandinski, Malevich, Poliakoff, Blo, Pichiavo, Smash137, Tilt and creates anachronism and fusion innovative.

His participation in different street art festivals, performances for different commercial brands, collaborations with Alliances and French Institutes, collective exhibitions with renowned artists, as well as personal exhibitions in France, Asia Southeast and South America, gradually push him towards an international career.

It is in contact with the streets and cities of the world with diverse and captivating architectures, colors and textures, that ALLIAS has drawn its inspiration for a decade.

A globalization at the service of a style, to make the link between people and cultures. An immersive work both for the painter who appropriates the graphic codes he encounters, and for the spectator who himself travels through these combinations of gestures and sought-after compositions.
