EVENTS PROGRAM – FUTURO SHOW

Saturday, January 24 – 3 p.m.
FUTURO MUSICAL EXPERIENCE with LISA STRAUSS
Solo cellist

Selected as one of Le Monde’s Promises for 2026, this rising star of classical music will honor us with an intimate performance in the futuristic setting of the iconic Maison Futuro.

Lisa Strauss: Trained at the CNSMDP, by the Gautier Capuçon Foundation and the Royal Conservatory of The Hague, the young cellist has developed a lively approach to classical music that combines academic rigor with an avant-garde spirit. Beyond the rare and radical references in her repertoire (from Schnittke to Shostakovich), which she revisits with style and liberating energy, Lisa is increasingly collaborating with other artistic fields, or performing in unexpected contexts. With David Herman, Artistic Director and Curator of the Futuro Show, she is currently preparing her solo album “Brutal Baroque,” a global musical project aimed at revealing the expressive power of Baroque music from the 17th century to the present day, including collaborations with the iconoclastic composer Régis Campo.

ℹ️ Five tickets to be won, available online on Wednesday, January 21, on the Marché Dauphine Instagram account.

CONVERSATION with MATHIAS KISS
in the presence of Marc Olivier Deblanc (Barnett avocats)

Meet one of the key artists of the Futuro Show, whose hybrid practice combining painting, sculpture, and in-situ installations, such as the radiant work Watch You Burn, occupies a large part of the exhibition. Also present will be his close advisor, Marc-Olivier Deblanc, who specializes in intellectual property law in the entertainment industry and has been working with the artist for over 10 years, supporting him in his creations and collaborations, as well as in defining his artistic approach.

Mathias Kiss: With a background as a craftsman with the Compagnons, specializing in the restoration of historic monuments, this free spirit of the contemporary scene has made a name for himself as an artist. With his ability to combine iconic creations and noble execution, paying homage to the past and building the world of tomorrow, his work appeals to all audiences: from institutions (from the Palais de Tokyo to the Palais des Beaux-Arts in Lille, via the mudac and the Mobilier National) to major brands (Christofle, Hermès, etc.), to the widest audiences—as evidenced by his recent trophy for Ligue 1 soccer, placing his name in the lineage of personalities such as Andrée Putman.

CLOSING DAY EVENT
with JAY-JAY JOHANSON, MOODOID, and PANZER

A historic afternoon designed as a true “festival” bringing together three artistic acts whose visions complement each other. With a special appearance by JAY-JAY JOHANSON. The iconic crooner of the trip-hop generation will perform live, followed by an intimate conversation with the audience.

He will be preceded by an acoustic concert by MOODOID accompanied by PAUL PRIER, as a final echo of his anniversary album LE MONDE MÖÖ 1ÖYEARS, which gave rise to an exhibition of 10 sculptures combining music, art, and design (at the heart of the FUTURO SHOW).

The warm-up and inter-show will be provided by PANZER, in DJ set and live, a major player in the experimental electronic scene of the last 10 years, co-founding the Intervision label and signing the artistic direction of parties and venues that have become international references, from the Péripate to the Rorshar, to the recent club a122AE.
