PRÉSENTS PASSÉS
Stand 22-23
Isabelle Maleval will present the work of Marie Desparmet at her booth.
Since her youngest age, Marie has been lucky enough to be surrounded by creative people, painters, sculptors, poets. Curious, she has always had an open mind about nature, music, sculpture and mainly color. After an art school, she never let go of the pencil or the brush.
Her travels, her encounters and her trials brought her a lot; she started to paint more regularly, with watercolor or acrylic, while animating, during many years, painting workshops.
Until 2005, the figurative had always been her choice. But the line will gradually fade to leave room for color. The acrylic for its smoothness becomes his main technique. The work with the knife sculpts the forms.

VELVET GALERIE
Stand 27
Exhibition Flavors of childhood
A series of decorative works by C. Bartalo, created from original publications, books, magazines, original albums, period newspapers cut out and then glued and patiently arranged on linen canvases will be presented at the gallery.
Each unique collage is matched with Caesar masks corresponding to the theme chosen for the backgrounds.
The final result of this mix of techniques, materials and textures gives relief to the old comic books and an ideal decorative environment for the vintage masks of the house of Caesar.
A true declaration of love for all our childhood friends, a real tribute to the heroes of our youth and to the television universe of cartoons from the 1950s to 2000.
All these television characters were alive through our eyes as children…
Time travel guaranteed…with pieces of madeleine as an aperitif.
