After training as a fashion designer and working for an antiques dealer, Coline de Masure decided to add another string to her bow by training to make lampshades, a little-known skill that echoes her first profession (pattern-making, creating volumes, sewing…) and enables her to move from clothing to objects.

More than just lampshades, these are truly luminous objects that she displays on her stand among a selection of antique furniture and objects.

She has developed her own technique for applying velvet and trimmings to create unique designs, imbued with references to fashion and the decorative arts (Chirico, Cocteau, Bérard, as well as Lacroix and YSL).

A native of Isle sur la Sorgue, her work also reflects the influence of the land of Provence, with its distinctive light, its painters, its ancient heritage and its Mediterranean culture.
