An artist and creator of Romanian origin, Alina Alamorean has spent nearly twenty years developing a unique universe that straddles the realms of contemporary jewelry, sculpture, and design.
A graduate of the Haute École de Joaillerie in Paris, she was a two-time winner at the 2005 HRD Diamond Awards in Antwerp, and went on to take the top international prize in the same competition in 2007 for her *Cape Indomptable* (“Indomitable Cape”)—a piece crafted from iron mesh and adorned with 983.57 carats of rough diamonds. That same year, she also received two honors at the Tahitian Pearl Trophy, including the top special prize for France.
Her work has been showcased in prestigious galleries and institutions across the globe, from Paris and New York to London and Tokyo. Her creations are represented by the Carpenters Workshop Gallery and were selected by Rei Kawakubo for *Comme des Garçons*. She also collaborates with the worlds of fashion and music, most notably with the artist FKA twigs.
Her jewelry—often monumental in scale—combines raw metals, natural stones, fragments of antique objects, and found materials. Among her signature pieces are the *Guerrières* (“Warriors”) necklaces—wearable sculptures in which every element carries its own distinct history.
Her practice also extends to furniture with *Meteorus*, a collection of unique pieces that pair raw steel with granite, where natural materials serve as the starting point for the creative process.
At stand 89 in the Marché Dauphine, Alina Alamorean brings together her jewelry, objects, and furniture in a space that reflects her own vision—a setting where contemporary creations and curated vintage finds engage in a free-flowing dialogue.
