Gomar y Gomar, Spanish Impressionist painter (Beniganim 1849 – Madrid 1911)
trained in the school of Rafael Montesinos y Ramiro (1811-1877). This is probably a landscape painted from life, depicting El Albaicin, Granada, Andalusia. Gomar was portrayed by Joachim Sorolla, and some of his works are in the Prado Museum in Madrid. He died in 1911.

Antonio Gomar y Gomar (Beniganim, Valencia, el 26 de marzo de 1849 – Madrid el 21 de junio de 1911) fue un pintor español que cultivó el paisajismo. Destacó en su época por realizar frescos de pintura decorativa de lugares como el Casino de Madrid, en su momento el Café de Fornos y el comedor del palacio de los duques de Santoña.
