His credo: the paintings, drawings (beautiful abstract series signed by Yvonne Latil) and prints (engravings on Chinese paper with a neo-classical theme) from the years 1850 to 1950 for which this expert member of the CNES often engages in long searches for authentication… Thus a simple “EC” monogram on a landscape of the bay of Cannes can signify Ernest Cuvillier, a divisionist painter close to Paul Signac.
